18/09/24: Ren'py project
listening to: VICTIM - (K)Now-NAME
started working on this Ren'py project yesterday. i hesitate to call it a game since it's not meant to be played, it's just meant to be a fake game teaser that i will record after it's coded. anyways, the script and coding is done (did that yesterday) and today i want to finish the UI as much as possible. i have a dialogue box, which is the biggest part, now i just need to make some buttons, a frame, maybe a custom cursor. + choose and implement the font. after the UI is done i will work on sprites, then i'll add music and the finishing touches, maybe make fake cover art... though that's not necessary. i'm hoping to get this done by the end of the week. wish me luck, if you're reading this :p

+ small update to this (4 hrs later): finished the frame, custom cursor and buttons! which means i can start on the sprites tomorrow yayy

HI... i really wanted a blog section so i tried to make one. again with no working links. LOL. anyways, coldseeps is officially 1 week old... i remember months ago trying to put together a site on another neocities account, getting frustrated and giving up. i actually made a new account cause i thought the name-change glitch (something i vaguely remember from a tutorial) made it impossible to update my site, but in retrospect that might've had to do with the browser cache... so i am really content that i'm getting things to work this time around. to be honest i don't want to spend too much of my free time on this, but it's just so fun adding little things to the site??? i know the code is a MESS but i don't really care. there's so many cool sites on here and some of them have been made by total beginners like me which makes me optimistic for the future... so yeah i want to keep building coldseeps bit by bit, no pressure, no workshops or online courses, just messing around. i'm hoping this will give me motivation to attend class since i'll have something to tinker on when bored. ah... that concludes my first blogpost. see you on the next one ^3^
